It's been six years since Ayumi was trapped in Heavenly Host, and her old classmates have invited her to a reunion in their old classroom. However, it isn't long before Ayumi finds herself in a familiar cursed school.
This time, Ayumi stands alone against the vengeful spirits of Heavenly Host. Her captors seemingly fueled by her guilt, Ayumi's only chance of survival is to come to terms with what happened six years before...

This is a Corpse Party fangame based on the D-2 ending of the original Corpse Party/Corpse Party Rebuilt. There are some minor changes to the characters (for instance, the characters resemble their updated appearance from Blood Covered onward), but the game primarily focuses on five of the original game's six major characters.
Depths of Despair takes place six years after Ayumi escaped from Heavenly Host. While she tried to resurrect Yoshiki and Yuka with black magic, the spell failed and killed Satoshi instead. Ayumi's guilt over killing Satoshi and the horrors of Heavenly Host finally catch up to her during a class reunion at Kisaragi Acedemy.
